its recorded in mpeg2 hence the size is huge.. will try to encode it 1st before uploading, most probably thru bit torrent...

So you've got all the games? including the ones from quarter finals onwards? That would be awesome! Really want to see all of Taufik's games from QF to today's final.

I didn't watch all the matches but I recall Chen Hong wearing this shirt pattern but Taufik was wearing other designs... guess they decided to colour-coordinate for the finals :)

WD Champions: Zhang Yawen/Zhang Dan (CHN)
XD Champions: Zhang Jun/Gao Ling (CHN)

China won 3 champions and Indonesia won 2... :D Zhang is the most powerful player in China, out of 5 chinese players who got champions, they are all Zhangs except Gao Ling:)

haha i noticed that too ,interesting:D
 
initially i thought gao/huang would just walk away winners. but i was surprised that zhang yawen had so much aggression and determination in her! she really deserved to win and it was a very entertaining match with lots of "oooh"s and "aaaah"s.

Congrats to Taufik for being a rare one to beat 2 top chinese players to win the tournament. Everybody, please knee down and bow to Mr Taufik Hidayat. Everyone should learn his foot work and goto shuttle attitude. What a player! Perfect game.

hey do you know what taufik said in the interview after the match? i just saw it on the news just now.

he said something like "i love the fans here...and i can assure you i'm coming back here next yr. xxx(couldnt here properly) will be here, and my gf will be here too." and i cant hear what else he said.
