I just browsed through the completed results on day 1, Chen Qi Qiu/Zhao Ting Ting of China lost to the Singaporean pair, what an upset!
It seemed that Wang Chen of Hong Kong, the runner-up of the recent China Open had also lost to Tina Rasmussen of Denmark. The later revenged over her the semi-final defeat in the just concluded China Open. Tina is showing her true potential now after being overshadowed by Carmilla Martin for a long time.

I can't believe this too.. The score is 15-9, 7-15, 17-16, they lost just by a little bit. China Xd left with Zhang Jun & Gao Ling, hope they can do well! :p

It seems that something happen to Wang Chen.
Especially the second set. Take a look at score : 11-9, 11-0.

According to Raph's article on worldbadminton.net, there was a lot of wind in the hall due to air conditionning... (Wang Chen had the wind against her in the second game)
