Didnt own both 88 nor LDF but just based on others comment.

Voltric known for offensive base racket model that really great for smashing.

Astrox tho it suppose to replace Voltric range, it still head heavy offensive type but not a pure power beast. It lower power abit but gain more manouver, so it never be the same. Also many said 88D Pro is a pure double racket. Compare to OG 88D, Pro one had less power, so dont expect it would be close to LDF.

If you like LDF, why not getting it again as you also happen to be fans of the legend living on it:D. But if you want to try a new toy, 88D Pro is OK but expect it would be different so you wont get shocked on how different it was.

I don’t own both these but based on other reviews I can say
88d pro is more head heavy than 100zz
100zz is stiffer than 88d pro
100zz is quicker than 88d pro but 88dpro has higher smash power
