Interesting... I was thinking of getting another 88S Pro but hearing this while having the 1st generation Astrox 77, maybe I'll wait until it is released.

I'm assuming fully recessed frame thinner shaft and shorter with a longer handle.

All the things I like about the S pro. If it has 76 hole pattern I may well have to get one.

Has the colorway of this racket been released to the public yet?

302 BP with strings and grip, swing weight is the same as wet weight. I guess it’s just a slightly head heavier ver of AX77 after all…

Increase on BP and no full recessed frame like the other pros. I could only imagine the speed and drag of this racket

From racquet force instagram, the arcsaber 11 pro's balance point is 298mm so this astrox 77 pro will be around the same?

I'm disappointed in the lack of a fully recessed frame. I was hoping the 77 pro would be like a less stiff 88d pro.

Strung + overgrip and only 302mm. Seems pretty toned down almost to NF level. But no recessed frame either. Guess Yonex is going backwards in improvements.

Why are you all so caught up on the recessed frame?

I don't like this new Yonex style or marketing...putting the word PRo for little to no improvement to justify higher selling price.

Getting less and less impressive with their range and innovation. Basically milking us.

    Because recessed frame looks exclusive.

Recessed supposed to be more aerodynamic.

most likely hiding string and grommets has more effect than some sword frame :) but then if the difference would transfer to actually feeling it - most likely not, but nowadays some manufactures make fully recessed sword frames! there you would definitely would be able to witness huge huge speed :D

Which rackets have fully recessed sword frames?
