Anyone have the new rocket 7's? How quick are they on court? Are the soles thin enough for fast reactions? Thanks .
Asics shoes very rarely have thin enough soles for badminton. These ones were made specifically for volleyball, so your feet will most likely be too high above the floor.
I like Victor shoes, they tend to have thinner soles that Yonex, even though Yonex isn't overly thick. Li-Ning's high end shoes have pretty nice soles too, I'd avoid the lower end ones though.

not sure which Victor Shoes you have but i have the other way around experience, my Victor shoes all have this so called Energy Max 3 printed on the insole and they are super thick (at least twice as thich on my Yonex) that i need to swap out my Yonex insoles everytime i use them (Yonex 87 Ltd/normal one) So anyway, the Yonex 87 and 87 ltd have very thin insole and very close to the floor, very very nice in my experience, also wide as well so good if you have wide feet. I dont and they are a bit loose on top lolz.
It's all matter of preferences and models tbh. I get people asking for Asics here, and Asics could be considered high heels because of how thick the sole is...
