    I think they skip the 3 starts Thailand Open for 5 stars Japan Open.
    After JO they get rest for a month to do some 'corrigible' to face Sudirman Cup.

    This 3* do attracts 2nd liners, those needing points for the WC/Olympics and juniors e.g.Park SungH, Seo Y-h, Sonny Kunc and many Chinese juniors.

    Notable Chinese entries.
    1. More points for direct entry to WC:
    MS XiaXS - Depressed as after missing the Olimpics and losing 3x to LD each with worse score, said he was old and China would soon have no use for him.
    MD GuoZhendong/XieZhongbo (3rd MD) but they face the top seed in Rd 1; WD ZhangYawen/ZhangDan(4th WD?);XD XieZhongbo/ZhangYawen(3rd WX)
    2. Reward for Chinese 2004 WJC contingent:
    MS Chen Jin, Gong Weijie who should have won the WC when ahead;
    WS Lu Lan (R-U) Wang Yihan (QF, 17 in Jan.) and Wang Lin (SF, 15+).
    XD Tian Qing (JWC + QF WD), He Hanbin (JWC + MD QF)
    3. Oddities
    Wang Lin's w.o.to Lu in the SF after Cheng Shau-chieh beat defending champion Jiang Yanjiao in the other half, was blatant match fixing, but Lu still lost the F 4,7.
    MS For unknown reasons YU Li has LYB's 'aye and is here - he was even in the qualifiers for the AE!!
    MD 2 relatively new airs in Q on trial.
