hahaha, true but u had taken my statement beyond its purpose and bound which i initially didn't anticipate. LOL ok, u c, most coach 1. don't play competitively anymore 2. don't train competitively anymore they can use a twig to demonstrate and coach if he really need to. dont want to sound rude but to teach newbies, that all he really need if that coach is an ex-nat. i have more but that should be suffice for now.
i've got a APACS ArmorPower 300, it feels pretty good. however, i found that my old racquet can deliver more powerful smashes compared to Apacs. my old racquet was Yonex Carbonex 8SP with BG-85 and my new racquet is with BG-68Ti
ya really cooler i dont see the need for amateurs to use such a high-edn rackets.a cheap wan will do.even an advance player liek my coach does not need that great of a racket.
I have been using the apacs racquests for quote sometimes. I used to love the armopower 700 until.......Recently, i broke of of my apac racquet and purchase a new YY armotec 800 DE to see if i can feel any significant differents. I know the Armotec 700 is supposed to be a single player racquet and 800 is for double player, so i cannot really make any significant comparison between the 2. I can feel the original YY 800 does give a very consistent feel each and everytime you hit on the bird. Whereas, the apacs 700 feels very hollow. No doubt it is a very good racquet, but comparing to the real Mccoy..i can see how much i can improve my games.. Now..i am looking at getting the real YY 700 to replace my apac as well..
APACS racket is really really fragile. I used to have 3 APACS racket (PowerConcept 998, PowerConcept 900 & Armorpower 700) all broke within 3 months. 2 break while I was smashing and another was crashing with my double partner. Both my partner and I were using APACS and both rackets gone. 8 months back, I was playing double with my friends. My opponents crash their APACS racket and both rackets also gone. That’s why I can rate APACS racket as FRAGILE.
Are u serious? i had a few major clashes in doubles and even smacking the racket on the ground (not to mention that i'm a hard hitter) and my pc 998 hasn't even got a crack, only just a few big chips.
ive not broken my racket as yet.but ive own 2 apacs rackets..armor power 800 off and powerconcept900..
The shopkeeper from Etakoh , Kuala Lumpur told me that Apacs is another product from Pro Ace. Not sure whether it's true. Our team members have bought 3 pieces Apacs rackets and all of them have broken within 8 months. As far as I' m concern, I wouldn't recommend these racket. Too fragile.
maybe, but not as much compare to Yonex..although i never saw 1 myself.. And yes to ahtan,i think this is true. i remember seeing sth saying that Apacs boss bought over proace or sth like that.. Btw,how is apacs racket compare to Sintec 1?
Yep, I also belong to the camp who believes that the other than the similar paint work - there are material differences between an original and a clonex. Thats of course not to say that a clonex is lousy - it is just not the original
Yonex has a factory outside of Japan? So why do the rackets have Made in Japan on them? Unless only TW version doesn't have the Made in Japan?
Re: 10 and 10 shop heard a lot of you say that the 2 men at 10 and 10 shop is a con. I wanted to buy yonex mp 100 but the uncle intro me to proace thunderbolt II. Is this racket a good one? Can anyone give me some feedback on this racket?
so the manufacturing of the racket is the same? then y they still use different brands. Can someone enlighten me on this?
no, never believe what others said. never believe your own ears. best thing is go and visit the factory if given this incredible chance. all the bullpoo that those sellers are crapping aren't to be believed. if apacs and yonex come from the same factory, then that's gonna be the greatest scandal ever.
high end yonex racquets are made in their factory in JAPAN...that's why it says "made in japan" on those racquets lower end racquet (ie cheap models, NOT FAKES-actual YONEX racquets) are made in taiwan..therefore they do not say "made in japan" but rather "designed in japan" The TW code means that the racquet is allocated for sale in TW...not that it was made there. This is the same for all the other yonex country (to be sold) codes.
tigger18, From my point of view, they use different brands because of marketing strategy. Just like Esso & Mobil, they merge together recently but they still maintain both brand name.
ya same thinking here so that people who like apacs can continue playing with it.and not change rackets and proace can still benifit.
