Looking for a lighter racket as an alternative. I mainly play doubles. Currently using astrox 6 and feel my movement is quite slow. Any recommendations for something different?
Try Honor 200? Similar length and head balance to your racket but with a stiffer shaft and more aerodynamic frame. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
Is it faster than astrox 6? I'm a big player and I want to get a lighter/head light racket to allow me to move faster.
@Dave1011 Thanks. I also found sportshorizon is shipping for less than $50. I am planning to order two honor200 from them. Anyone has experience ordering/receiving the order from sportshorizon?
they are very reliable, did order not once from them, very swift shipping and very good communication as well
I've already queried them and they replied 88g strung and gripped so most likely it's 4u. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New racket, my previous lightweight racket is crack due to string snapped. Weight seems spot on with the specs. (No grip, No strings) Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
Yes After few games, for me this racket require different timing/stroke to make it as effective as a 4u racket Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
This thread has been a bit quiet so I though I'd share some new apacs racket pictures I got recently..... Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
They are the Glorious 300, Valorous 8 & Valorous 10. They are the intermediate+ level series. G300 endorsed by Shin Baek Cheol. Valorous endorsed by Ko Sung Hyun. Im still testing them. But early favourite is G300, easy to generate power, fast for good defence. V10 is like a more flexible AVP. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
does this mean KO/Shin will be using valorous and glorius now instead of pro commander and assailant pro?
I don't think so. These are only intermediate series. There's a Hyun Il series as well. There's also another Ko Sung Hyun woven series as well. I haven't seen them play recently. Not sure if they've changed rackets. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
I finally get my hands on the Apacs Force II Max racket. I must say that I’m impressed with it’s performance. Although the racket head is slightly smaller than normal racket, the sweet spot doesn’t seems like much smaller. Even off centre hit does not lose too much power. When doing smash I can feel the snap action comes from the racket. Hitting drive shot and base line to base line is easy as well. The slightly small head, slightly head heavy and extremely slim shaft seems to work well together with this racket. Looks like another favourite racket in my bag.
In the Thailand open in Jan, they were still using the pro commander and assailant pro. Just saw a vid on YouTube Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
