short answer is yes... try to change your proxy settings... google around you find the instructions... so far had been working as it's not a rocket science
I'm in England and I've just turned the stream on (it's working). I've heard there are certain proxy plugins for mozilla firefox (called foxyproxy) that can enable you to stream by using an anonymous public proxy from a country that does allow streaming. (Such as Korea, Netherlands, Spain) Not that I would condone using it, because it is frowned upon....
http://www.badmintonlink.com/Watch-Badminton-Live-Stream/2012_Yonex_Swiss_Open easier to switch between the courts, thanks!
Been smooth as butter the whole week (at least when on air/they remember to turn it on ) Maybe you need one of these http://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j...sg=AFQjCNFBcrF0j4jiP4VTIovwTXda-rkwGQ&cad=rja
Lol, Yeah i definately want one of those. Just think you could watch 1500 courts at the same time in HD. Saying all this I have fast internet and everything streams very well apart from the swiss open stream not sure what the problem is. Do I need a plug in or summit?
I tried to shut up everything else in my PC ... maybe it's working better with some other browser, I use Google Chrome... but anyway it was a great fun you saw the last matches? court#2 was without audio but I was looking for court#3 anyway... later put #2 in another window and enjoyed the end of the day... last announcement in the hall was that there is no beer left:crying::crying:... I like it... if you saw it you know what I mean but I think that it was still before midnight by local time...
Not a fan of UStream either and wasn't expecting much of it this year as well but surprisingly it has been pretty decent. Trying to capture it on my laptop with the slowest drive ever invented by mankind (Toshiba 4500rpm 1.8 zif-pata) on the other hand has been a trying experience to put it mildly (RMC v3 in this respect, system load, is much better than v4 but can't be used). Glad to report my laptop hasn't had flying lessons yet but SSD upgrade is imminent now for sure before I do send it for some lessons . Only cassualty so far has been the "T" button on my desktop keyboard which happened to be underneath at the wrong time ... but still functional as witnessed by this post.
If BWF really wanted to promote badminton, they should also show the livestream for GPG event on youtube.
"Technical problems on friday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Unfortunately all five U-Stream servers we use to broadcast the matches were not available yesterday from 2 pm to 5 pm and therefore we could not publish our productions! Despite quickly placed support requests at Ustream the problem couldn't be solved immediately. For we didn't find a sponsor for such a live-stream offering we had to switch to a version free of cost. It's consequence is we cannot accept responsibility and therefore were unable to influence the speed until the live streams were online again. To see how unfortunate this breakdown was... Last wednesday we counted about 11.000 hits per camera with no interrupt during 14 hours. We would like to apologise for these troubles it caused our online spectators and hope you still will enjoy the world class matches with our produced live streams."
