I have had slight right ankle pain if I play continuously for more than 15-20 mins. Until recently I have used a regular ankle sleeve like support and the pain was very slight.
But the last couple of months, the pain level has gone up. Every few games I need to take. a break. I have tried to use an ankle support that you get from CVS/Walgreens.
If I stop playing the pain subsides in about 5 mins and then I have no pain at all.

What can I do to control the pain?
Is there any particular ankle support that will help?

You need to have it looked at. A stress fracture of the heel bone is a possibility if pain starts so quickly.

Ok.. yeah I should get it checked up
I do not have the pain as soon as I start playing. Its probably after the 1st game the pain starts. I play other sports like volleyball and I do not have any pain then.

Probably also need to have your footwork checked.

Given the lack of details on the location of the pain, you should have someone look at it in real life.
