the koreans are coming up very strong and it won't be surprise they can show up in more finals! very strong doubles and what they need is stronger singles whaoh! the scenario would change overnight
___________________________________________________________________ I won't be surprised if either the Koreans or the Danes win the 2010 Thomas Cup tie. The Koreans and the Danes have two very good doubles pairs and all that is needed is to hone the singles players. Denmark has PHG, JOJ and JP and Korea has PSH and WHS. China no doubt is still the favorite but there may be surprises. ____________________________________________________________________
don't rule out Malaysia yet... we have strong MS, LCW, HH and maybe WCH two strong MD...KKK/TBH and Fuzzy or Mak/TWk... anything can happen as well....
__________________________________________________________________ Malaysia can only spring a surprise if all the players play with full commitment and a stong mental disposition. They won't win if they play just like in the 2010 SO MDF. Sorry. __________________________________________________________________
off topic-.. ..for the TC, Koreans and Danes probably will not have a chance even though they have 2 very outstanding Doubles pairs. The key will still be on the Singles players, which i don't think their Singles players are as good and experienced as the CHN MS players. MAS and INA have a closer chance, but again, it'll all depend on their Singles players (LCW is the only hope for MAS; INA will have to rely, again, on their veteran players to give them a chance).
correct, this is a fair prediction but we can't be 100% correct. in team event the first tie, that is, first singles is very important and i think you know why!!
KKK and TBH played pathetically - TBH was weak as p...... He ran out of steam. I could not believe my eyes.
*********** KKK/TBH took the lowly-ranked and unseeded Koreans for granted. Maybe they thought even if they lost the 1st game they could recoup and won the next 2 games hands down. I don't think any pair can take things easy as most national teams now have very good coaches coaching their players and on their day they can spring surprises. So it behoves haghly ranked pairs to be serious at all times and play with full commitment and a strong mental disposition. :crying::crying::crying: ************
I just watched the SO MD final... KKK was the one who was pathetically bad. So many unforced errors and giveaways that I lost count. It's like watching Superman after having drank some kryptonite juice!
KKK played badly but it was still manageablre - the 2nd set I thought they were going to get it but if you watch the video, TBH was nowhere with his smashes - he was just drained.
Yep.. in one rally TBH smashed 10 times, and then the koreans smashed once and immediately got the point.
the koreans doubles has always been a threat to mas doubles players. now with the young pair coming up, rexy and tkh has to work harder on them. could it be technical or the approach to play them or something else?
TBH is well-known for his killer-smashes but of late the smashes lack sting after two smashes. I think TBH has to work on his arm strength and Rexy M should have spotted the weakness. Has he or is always confident about his charges in the next and next tournaments.? This tune has been sung too often. Come-on BAM, do something about the problem. If we, the BCers' bloggers, can spot the weakness, the BAM people should do even more so.
In 2011, BAM will recruit 14 sports scientists to solve TBH's problem(s) . In 2011, BAM will recruit 14 sports scientists to solve TBH's problem(s). .
14? So many. Anyone from BC? -------------------------------------------------------- Ooops, thought you were joking until I saw another thread.
