LCW probably could not tell whether it was in or out. That is what line judges are for. Bad call marred the win. Probably LCW could have won it, but Tago would have had a chance at 20-20 to win the game and play the third game. Poor Tago.

I think it was not a fault call because the shuttle touched Tago's racket before it went out.

Of course, Eddy and the rest were good at his time.

I still think LCW is better, considering the game pattern and rythm has changed so much. The old players were not playing at the kind of speed today. Also, those old players did not play with any Chinese players at their time.

It is commendable for a such young guy, in his biggest match ever, to challenge LCW at the net and, for the most part, to have very good patience in such a tight game.
Totally impressive. Good luck to Tago in the future. :)
    And congratulations to Lee!:)

I do not think we can fault LCW for that. His reaction is caused the indication given by the line judge. Any player will do that.

Sure. However, though this is "clearly out", it was not an "out" of the "Korean style". I don't think the Umpire can really see it clear. lol

I guess Datuk Lee himself knew that he made a bad play.

Well, Tago had definitely not touched the cock. Definitely. He himself knew that as well. But he could hardly challenge that, he was not that experienced, and was shocked of course.

    Agree.

    He's got potential.

At that moment, I don't think he can see the shuttle was out. He only celebrate when he knows the call. Not his fault. What would you do he you were him?

    Same as in football (soccer)
