By now, some of you hot blooded guys would be swearing for the most important things, rite? Sure, let me indulge you in how, err, I made preparations to capture the most captivating images and delicate curves .....
First - the training:
I went to downtown Jakarta by one of the cheapest means of public transportation available, for "centralized sneaky picture taking training".
Hop in to the Transjakarta busway
Where you should expect to stand - half of the bus is already allocated to women
My training pictures - as you can see, none of the statues and, err, horse noticed me taking their pics. Yup, I am primed for battle already ......

......... the pictures of the Arena at night ....... Haa, I bet someone was already talking "Djarum Girls" or "BliBli Pan Am Stewardess". Patience is a virtue.
As the day turned into night, it was prime time to ...
Go and grab some dinner .....
While others prefer to play badminton
Supporters eyes glued to ......
..... this TV screen, as the battle between INA and CHN XD went to its climactic end
while chanting IN-DO-NE-SIA, prok prok prok prok prok (sound of the "battle"sticks)
Others just stay out ..... idly waiting for their loved ones
Some take advantage of the Support Wall
Which I indulged in too ......

1. pack up and check out
2. go to the Djarum Indonesia Open finals
3. take a cab to the airport
4. fly home
5. see the Group B conclusion of EURO 2012
The stewardesses and the Djarum girls, err, maybe later .......

The Danish MD combination may not have won the title, but they had the best gameplan ever - one that practically demolished the visibly slow Malaysian combo .....

This is the first time ........
........ since 1998 that I have not stayed anywhere within the Senayan-Semanggi area when going for INA Open. In fact, I went back to Central Jakarta - where most of top ten hotels are (bar Hotel Mulia, of course).
Pictures of the area:
This is the HI Circus (Bundaran HI) - which is close to the hotel where I stayed in
And if you are up to it - you could walk all the way to the National Monument
In Wonderland, as in the Shopping Wonderland of Grand Indonesia Plaza

Antics of the Finals Day .......
Yesserree, this is when the gloves come off, and the Indian brigade prepare to do battle for their queen ....... As mentioned by the Indian Cheerleading head for my section (seated directly behind me) - they are shouting for Sai-na, not Chi-na .......
The Indian Contingent came in full force .........
To support Sai-na, not Chi-na - nice net play from Saina ...........
During the match, the Indians were assisted by this Indonesian cheearleader .........
Forcing LXR to leave this shuttle in ......
Which gets her into trouble with Coach Zhong Bo .........
While her opponent is given more encouragement from her coach for turning the match around .......

Ever heard of Synchronized Swimming? That was pretty much how the Korean MD pair celebrated upon winning the final point .......

Their synchronization was a little off in the middle of their routine and JJS came off their dismount early. I'm afraid I can only give them a 7.375
