Aprilia's Battle Stopped, It's Over For Women's Single

Indonesia's representative in women's single had to surrender after being defeated by world's fifth-seed from India, Saina Nehwal. Aprilia gave up in three-game match, 17 - 21, 21 - 14 and 21 - 13.
According to his result, Indonesia doesn't have any athletes in the top 8 round which is going to be held on Friday (15/6) at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. Aprilia admitted that she had done the best she could to balance the India's first-seed, however the fact in the court was not as expected. She had to lose in 59 minutes by the champion of Swiss Open and Thailand Open 2012.
"She changed the way she played in the third set. So I had not been able to adapt with her fast play. After switching sides, I could able to deal with her way of playing. Too bad, I was far left behind," Aprilia described his defeat.
The defeat she had was not too disappointing her, in fact, Aprilia admitted she was now more confidence than before since she could directly play against the world's fifth-seed.
"In the future, I am optimistic I can win if I play against Nehwal," she said.
Meanwhile, Nehwal admitted Aprilia played well and worked hard to deal with herself. "She was also supported by the crowds, so I was quite overwhelmed in the second set," Nehwal said after the match.
Indeed in the second set,Aprilia started to improve her performance and finally leveled the score, 17 - 21, 21 - 14. However, Nehwal resistance was very good and Aprilia had to quit the only chance Indonesia had in women's single.
