The days before there will be online streaming...

More details on the official homepage...

But I think it won't be very cheap.

Personally I think that as many people as possible should sign up and pay the few pounds it cost to watch it live at 247.tv.. You can be "cheap" and get someone else to pay, and copy..

But remember if people aren't willing to put some money on watching badminton, there wont be much badminton to watch in the future :crying:

The little window for real player times out with poor streaming. If the advertisement stream times out and is not fast enough, what guaranty will a subscriber have that the paid streaming will be adequate?

Well they have contact, info and a forum, so I guess you could ask if you are entitled to a refund if you pay and they fail to deliver good stream..
That said I've been testing some Squash things on their site and is looking at the real media sample right now (took 2 sek to load 100%).. Seems to be plenty of bandwidth... Maybe it's your ISP that has poor overseas bandwidth.. You could try some benchmarks on UK servers in general..

    RTM 1 is showing

To my surprise, RTM 1 will show it this time. I am not sure about the exact date and time. They did not show the AE when Hafiz won it.

    BBC Grandstand

I suppose we can look forward to another wonderful "highlights" show from BBC Grandstand:

"...and here we join the game at 16-16 in the third game." Followed by two short rallies and then onto the darts or horse racing.

The only difference will be this year, the score will be 20-20, and the games will be even shorter.

    sigh~
