Friend is selling this racket with a fraction of original price. May i seek the expert advise if this is a sign of cracking? Thank you.

That looks broken to me, not sure if it would survive the next restringing.
But maybe stringers in this forum can comment further.

Tough to say. I have a 40x loupe to investigate cracks. As it's gone through to the other side of the hole, i'd say that's the beggining of a crack. Also very cheap price suggests your friend suspects a crack. However:
What tension is it at now? If you spin it with the shaft balanced in your palm does it spin evenly? ie has it deformed at alll? What tension do you play at? If under 26lb I'd give it a go and expect it not to survive a clash. I'm a casual player though and have played chicken with how much tension cracked frames can handle before.

Usually string at 26lbs. My concern it may not last the next restring. I'll test as you have suggested. Thanks.

26 is pushing it I think, but I'd chance it myself. Just watch it like a hawk as you string. Any deformation/weird noises and I'd drop it to 24. Will you friend let you try a restring before buying?

Yes. likely won't survive a restring or two. Keep it for light use like shuttle feeding and it will prolong its useful life.
