To summarise, Hafiz is not improving since the All England. instead, i feel his game turned worst. want me to speak to truth? Hafiz won the All England because he had easy draw. the ONLY REAL CHALLENGE was Chen Hong in the final. therefore, Hafiz winning the AE was not a big deal to me. KKK/TBH beat JE/ML and CY/FHF in AE. this makes their win more meaningful. they are worthy champions. Hafiz is just a flash of light and it's gone now..
yup, Hafiz can only visualize himself standing on the winning podium, but the dream will not be finalized..
I am just bring realistic, sorry if it hurt your feeling, as I wanted a MAS player to win just as much as you...and you know what, CH is in an enviable position, being in a better half of the draw cos CH would rather play HH than TH...LCW has a tougher draw, he has to face TH, CY and the CH or HH...and CH has less pressure being a 'retired' player, not expected to win, and still a world class player. LCW, on the other hand, has more pressure, as a lose in ABC would mentally set him back.
I hope you are not including your beloved LCW in the same category. I can still remember the songs you've sung of him not too long ago in this Forum, but you must be terribly disappointed when he could not deliver at the crucial stages, even when Li Mao was around. If there is no dream, there will be no more hope. Players need something to put themselves back into contention, to bring back their confidence. Hafiz has dreamt of winning the coveted AE crown long ago and he achieved it. And the man who helped him is local coach, Misbun Sidek, whom LCW has now returned to for help. Can Hafiz not travel the same journey again? Is he too old? Has he lost his appetite for winning? With LCW in the same camp, will not he be inspired to train harder and give the these two top Malaysian players a chance to beat the world's best? Can Hafiz (and LCW also) not visualize their most memorable achievements and "finalize", or do an encore? Do you really think this is "funny"?
In cracking a joke, it does not mean that I believe there is no resurrection possible. In fact, I believe the low point in anyone's life will always instill some kind of revival or "kick" that will probably enhance the person's ability to correct themselves. Hafiz may surprise everyone in this tournament and win it.

hafiz is said to win the competition as he is now very very strong ... they r now comparing him with LD ..... no la just kidding .... but if he doesnt screw up and with his skill n experience he can win loooo .... lcw oso looo ... th oso loooo ... if not my ..... fav to win is CH ..... my fav would be to c ch vs th in final !!
I would like MAS to win but IMHO, both of them, LCW n HH will not make it in ABC. Most likely the title will go to TH.
