Yes, it is. So, what I do is, I view the source. It's laid out nicely in the source.

I see that the MS last 8 matchups are not listed yet

Hafiz v Sony (if Hafiz does well, it a good dilemma for the Thomas Cup)
Park Tae Sang v Jang (who's this guy who beat Roslin?)

Ng Wei v Taufik (Taufik beat Lee CW perhaps a precursor to Thomas Cup tie)
Susilo v Shon (Susilo has chance to win back-to-back tournaments without having to worry about Thomas Cup)

Over in Euro Champs, Boesen is in the semis. He goes against Peter Gade, and in the final the winner will meet either Jonassen or Joppien. Based on my calculation, Park Tae Sang must at least match Boesen's stage to qualify over him.

Correction: If Park and Boesen both go to the final, they overtake Lee CW who will be ranked 17 next week. Lee CW will depend heavily on Park losing in the semis (to Hafiz or Sony), or Boesen losing to Peter Gade in the Euro semi.

Warning: I did only quick calculations.

    MD last 8 lineup

    Choong/Lee v Candra/Halim
    Flandi/Eng Hian v Masuda/Ohtsuka

    Sigit/TriKush v Pramote/Tesana
    Chan/Chew v Lee/Yoo

Of all these, only Chan/Chew has a very good reason (Olympic qual) to do well. For top seeds Choong/Lee, they could have triple Indon hurdle to the title.

That's crazy...Chinese WD is now challenged by the Koreans, will there be more surprises in the coming olympic? As we all know in the Japan Open, the WD was also won by the Koreans Lee Kyung Won - Ra Kyung Min. Perhaps Park Joo Bong's training technic is really working. At least now there are more competition in the WD, rather than seeing china dominating all these while...

Anyway, back to the ABC, I think it should be nice to see wong mew choo vs kanako yonekura. With the absense of the chinese players, we'll see who might rise this time.

Keep posting the result, hcyong. I can't stand that website's way of displaying their results.

I have said in several posts in the forum that the Korean girls are better than the Chinese. I Think however when you have such dominance that the Chinese have had, it can be difficult to get over the mental block, and you have to be much better than them to actually beat them. The koreans are. Now the Korean WD have confidence, and CHNare lower, I think will will see a change.

Having said that Wei/Zhao are the weakest of the three top CHN pairs, and are mentally weaker. (And I dont like them!)

I agree with you assessment Jamesd20, I too hope that there will be more variety for Women, rather than just CHN domination all the way.

I think Du Jing/Yu Yang will be the most strong Wd pair in the future.
Maybe they can be the world champion in two or three years.

    Park Joo Bong

    Park Joo Bong's training technic?

I heard that the practice hour increased with double by Park Joo Bong. So, Koearn players have felt a pain.
