Since you have some experience, 24lbs would be a good starting point. And you can adjust up/down on the next restring.

    BG-06 ?
anyway BG 65 is an all-rounder, durable, cheaper, and average in all other characteristics.

Cant recommend the 06. Despite the small diameter, it's dreadfully dull.

The serious string in small diameter is BG 66 Ultimax (or the newer Force which Iv not tried yet). Definitely NOT a dull string.

66UM starts out great, then loses a big part of its feeling as the tension drops. First week is a blast, after that, it's...okay. I prefer the Bg80 since it's more steady - it doesn't start with the same feeling, but it lasts so much longer...stays playable pretty much forever.

Hi J4ckie, If U pre-stretch the BG66UM and string a little higher than U play. Then use the racket for heat ups only for a while until the string evens out, it stays the same throughout mostly until it breaks. At 27Lb say about 6-8 weeks (3 x /wk). personal experience.

Why do I feel 25lb is more powerful than 23lb with my racket? I'm saying the same exact racket.

    yes, same string bg80,
At 25lb tension, I feel the birdie flies faster in my clears and smash compare to 23lb. Weird?

    Hmm!
probably due to an effect of change. Now that U know the tension is higher U hit harder; harder than necessary to compensate for the additional 2Lbs. Then U hv the reserves to go higher still. Good Game and happy new year.

Damn, shopkeepers in my country almost always grip my racquets at 26 without asking. My coach has gotten mine strung at tension 28. Never knew there was a certain string tension that suits each person.

Will try out your experiment :D

That way it just starts out feeling numb. Simply doesn't hold tension well. Can't say I miss it
