this is a very hard question you're asking. Before I can help you please answer my following question?
Whats the brand and model you're talking about?
    1. What's the frame design like? (box or aero?)
    2. Length of the shaft
    3. Shaft stiffness
    4. What is your current racket and why do you think of changing it?
    5. What is your current string and tension?

    1. i dont know about that
    2. standar
    3. flex
    4. unknown brand
    5. 24 lbs

my skill about beginner-intermediate and current raket about bp 290 flex type
i want to change to medium type to improve control
i prefer speed play to longest rally play also enjoy the game, but sometime i need little head light to attacking

4U 295 maybe its to heavy for me ,so im considering to change 4u 290 medium or 5u 295 medium

how old are you? What your weight & height?
Normally 4U 295 mid stiffness are something i would suggest to any adult beginner. Coz its not to heavy, yet had abit of head weight to help them generate more power coz beginner dont had burst swing speed & medium stiffness are ok to learn some control & not to demanding to use.
3U & >300 are somewhat tricky to use which no beginner could do without altering their focus or unless you are physically stronger than average.
290BP might still be ok, but 5U.... Idk, but i feel like having light racket wont improve your speed significantly to makes it worth. Unless you are a pro that can swing insanely faster to makes up for the weight lost.
