3xcept for Vitid, everyone wants to win something at least for morale. No one is thinking of winning AE at the moment.;)

After watching the scratch pair Sumeeth Reddy/Aswini ponappa, i can take liberty to say that Sumeeth does not fit into any category(Front or backcourt player). Why he is still playing?

He enters many tournaments. Obviously for enjoyment. Age is not a barrier for entry.

LSen vs C Popov seems to be a battle of 2 defensive-aggresive players and nerves. too.. excellent work by Popov able to fight point for point to win the first game

Christo Popov is playing like a top 10, and way above his older brother right now - much faster, sharper, better defence, better correction shots

Popov needs to focus on singles. Doubles with his brother is not helping. Christo clearly has the talent to be decent in singles.

He said many times in interviews, both in French and English, that an important part in his improvement in singles is because he also plays doubles. It helps him become faster, and better at flat games. Check out his interview in Badminton Europe. He gives pretty interesting insight. I find him very well-spoken despite his young age.

Kullavut retired due to ankle roll in the second game. Lets hope it's not too serious. I think he probably wants to focus on All England.
