I wish this would come soon. With so many players skipping orleans masters, thats not much to catch up on
True badminton fans enjoy badminton regardless of who is playing on the court. There is a proverb in Tamil - If we close our eyes , whole world wont become dark . Atleast, we have something to watch, right.
Tickets on the final day, including the ¥2,800 variety, are sold out within hours. The cheapest and the most expensive semi-final tickets are sold out as well, but there are still tickets available in the ¥1,000 and ¥1,500 categories.
Okuhara's name is not listed on the National Training Camp Roster for the Sudirman Cup. According to the list, it will be Yamaguchi, Ohori, and Kawakami who are likely to participate. Although injuries will undoubtedly be playing a large part, Okuhara is consciously declining to participate. She is not featuring in the Asia Championships, and did not attend the publicity event for this year's Japan Open, either. It seriously looks as though a retirement is looming.
How does sudirman cup points gets calculated into the individual ranking points? Trying to figure it out
china has been locked done for past 3 years, now people are trilling to spending. Meanwhile, Suzhou is one of the richest cities in china
She just seems content at posting mundane stuff on fansnet these days. Her recent tournament results (when she actually participates) are nothing to shout about either.
I'm a big fan of Nozomi Okuhara. To me, she is among the top woman single player. She came back from injury once and did well. It is sad that she had to be injured again. I think she was hoping to recover but struggled matches after matches although sometimes she could make it to quarter finals in spite of her injury. Going up further from there might be doable for a player like her but that would also mean that she would have to push herself more while carrying injury. That probably would not be wise and she would have to calculate very carefully if it is worth taking the risk. I still hope she will be able to be healed and not retire so soon. I hope she can pass on her skills and experiences to younger players in Japan. Sent from my iPlay20S using Tapatalk
Considering how everyone is underperforming in BAC to save energy for this, I expect a lot of good matches!
