WC and Olympic medals are easier to win compared to 1000 Tour Series. The former have lowly rank players (and some strong players cannot compete) while the latter consists of world top 32/64 players.

The last time they clash, LKY was victorious with VA getting 9 & 6 points in the 2nd and 3rd game respectively.

Hard to repeat that feat, though.

Sadly not on tv court. HBJ is the most deceptive player with less errors.

clown comment.maybe not to you but no one cares about that. she was wr1 and one of the few to challenge chines and i dont think you can do that without good strokes and footwork.

Such anguish. I am not here to criticize her. Just stating the facts. Shows you are either too young or not a badminton player.

You are right. Saina doesn't have a smooth footwork . Even she acknowledged that in one of her interview . Due to her determination and dedication, she is still there when all her peers are retired. She is still there since her first title in 2006. 3 Wangs, Juliene Schenk, Tine Baun etc evetybody retired but she still in the circuit for her love towards badminton. She is still able to beat some of top names like He bingjiao etc .

Not fair to call Juliane Schenk and Tine Baun her peers. Tine is 43, Juliane is turning 40 in a month. If you want to compare them, keep in mind Saina is only 32. Tine won All England at 33.

We are waiting for the next great European WS like Marin. If Badminton truly grows, there should be a few European prospects already.

Nothing special from this JPN WD, they are just defending all the way. rahayu missing point blank range when Shida on the floor is stupid and hitting the net in front pretty silly. In the end they got frustrated and then just gifts easy points.

Disagree, it's only easier to get past the first two rounds, that's all , due to the nature of the two aforementioned tournaments requiring a wider representation of participants across the world/continents; apart from that, it's certainly just as difficult to win gold or the title as practically all the best of the best are in contention, almost always , except for the rare occasion when one of the top contenders is/was absent due to unforeseen circumstances.

Gonna be crazy match in TTy vs RI. She was like 15-19 or 16-20 down? Won that game and leading G3 7-0 wth. The odds is probably 15+ to win the match or even 100 lol
