JC must be thinking too much that he ll be praised by all the girls in social media when he was 18-11 and 20-15 up..
SHOCKER/UPSET POST First of all as the Ardent WC/OLY fan I have to pay respect to players who have earned it by winning the WC Medal irrespective of my personal liking for them, so congratulations to CTC for a great match and you deserve the Biggest Podium of 2022 because you were perhaps mentally more strong to hold on to your nerves contrary to your opponent. Now talking about Jo,I was personally rooting for him after my personal Fav SYQ was ousted yesterday and I really thought that Jo has this as he had a massive lead but alas it wasnt his day.Im not gonna blame his usual errors,Missjudgements this time but will admit that he did play a fantastic badminton however,I do believe he just couldnt hold his nerves when it mattered the most and at the Grandest tournament of the year its not just the tactical and skillful players but a combination of Mental strength along with the skills and tactics who went on to stand at that podium and see their flags high. Though its not first time Jo has put me and other fans of his' in this position of misery and disappointment but we do hope he comes back stronger because I know he can and he has everything to win WC/OLY medal, just needs to strengthen his focus a lill bit more. He doesnt have to be ashamed he played well its just that CTC was the better of the two. Peace Now looking forward to my Queen Carol's match !
No offense to his coach but LKY needs a new coach who can offer him another strategy and he’s running out of time if he continues with this coach, he is stagnating right now. Any opponents who can handle his sudden attacks can just slowly continue the rally and he will just make mistakes because he is impatient.
Difference is SYQ played his best after a very long break but Im disappointed a little with Jo's performance but he did play well it was just that he lost focus at cruicial points..Im sure both will be back stronger..but Jo really needs to work at his mental focus.
Kunlavut's control is just unbelievable. So far, he alone has that slow-pace shots that Momota used to have in the past.
Kunlavut Vitidsarn was on his game today. LKW not at his best, didn't have the answers in the 1st and 3rd set.
I've been holding my tongue since last year's World Champion. People were so hot for Loh, but I thought there was no clear structure to his game, and would be impossible to produce consistent results. Probably a little bit too harsh, but Loh seems to be anything but a one-hit wonder.
