I think LYD/JJS was rated higher than the Minions because of the more competitive environment they were in. Beside the Korean pair, there were Cai/Fu, Kido/Setiawan, Boe/Mogensen and KKK/TBH. The Korean were once WR1, but I don't think stayed there as long as the Minions. They did won many titles (again, not as many as the Minions) but consistently did well in the highest grade tournaments (bronze in london2012, silver/bronze in 3 WC).

General question. I'm in California, USA. Is a VPN needed to watch the matches on BWF TV's Youtube channel? I can only see some highlights, but match videos are unavailable.

This never used to be an issue for other tour events when BWF streamed their matches. Only for this WC I'm noticing not being able to watch their matches. Hopefully someone can provide advice or confirm if a VPN (or alternative method) is needed. Thanks in advance.

    VPN Canada.

USA was always available but not this tournament- perhaps a US media company bought the rights.

LZJ took a break from CWG for the biggest event of the year yet couldnt even get a medal here I guess he should have played at CWG for he could have won the CWG tittle at least and would have added a piece of metal but now everything wasted.

MAS WC Jinx strikes again unless their MD could win.

Lee Zii Jia should reflect on his determination, whether he wants to win or not. Good game to ZJP, he played well.

6 week break wasted for nothing bad but bad form.

Congrats ZJP for your first WC Medal.

PS -: I know all the hyped fans would be like "Hey theres still QF left" I know and I also know that Prannoy who is error prone will be losing tomorrow to ZJP though LS could have won but HSP gave his all against LS in Pre Quarters so Im sure ZJP will beat HSP in a breeze.

Now Id love if HSP proves me wrong but lets see.

    LZJ and Sen both ousted.
Great match from ZJP with patient play. What he needs is more consistency.
