Why would they not think it would go to a 5th match when everyone is almost equally matched except 2nd ws and 3rd ws.

Prannoy is fielded as MS3, that is a good sign

In post match comment, Zhang Jun explicitly said that CHN was fully prepared for it to go to the 5th match. I think they probably thought more about CYF could lose rather than Chen/Jia, in addition to the evenly matched WD2

For India to win, Sen must win the 1ms. Else, it would be tough. ;)

I think India has a good chance of winning the Thomas Cup. They have good depth in MS and MD atm

Disagree. It’s the Indian MD1 who need to win. Indonesia usually win the Thomas cup on the strength of their doubles pairs.

Yes, but lakshya winning will make things easier. MD1 is little difficult than MS1 imo. Let's see.

Out of the 5 matchups today, I only see the MD2 where INA is clear favourite, the other 4 I can see go either way. This is gonna be really fun to watch as a neutral fan.

If sen and MD1 can win their matches, it could end with a 3-0 win to IND.

    SK is playing well atm

It’s really the same as yesterday, winning either of the first 2 matches, it will go to 5.

Ginting is going all out to score points, and poor LS has been on the floor many times already

It will be very difficult for IND , its like playing away from home. Every point for INA is cheered by the crowd..

no one gives a damn if Sen gets a point so its tough. Lets see if he can shut the crowd down.

11-7 to Ginting, his powerplay is working well

If Ginting plays the whole match at this pace I don't see lakshya wining the first match for India. He's hardly getting any chance to attack.

He's playing like his old self. Not the same Ginting who was off form or lacked confidence

Ginting has found his top form, and Sen slips again
