Loh Kean Yew just turned to super Saiyan when facing Viktor, like "Ginting vs Momota".

In normal match, Loh was "Loh" ^-^.

Ginting even didn't inject speed and smash to win that match.

JoJo and SK are like brothers from another mother...they both are very talented and skilled but somehow they choke at crucial points and both of them have some secret affair with the net and side lines.:p

Also not to forget their sister Gregoria who does the same type of play in the WS department...These three are a group of siblings with same playing styles, same luck and same fate :D..Its a treat for me to watch these bros play against each other:p

When I thought SK is playing like the form of 2017 which got him 6 super series, he suddenly came to his absolute worst. He was in complete control and all of a sudden he almost lost the second game. Lol.

The fluctuated Ginting redeems DEN & FRA disastrous first round exit finds fine line in Saarbrucken to topple defending champion straightforwardly. The Singaporean was too busy to play casual shot that triggering many unnecessary mistakes whilst world #6 performed more accurate and comprehensive to dictate pace in this fast oriented match. Another Indonesia player Christie fails to going into next round despite his good comeback in late part of second game to narrow the gap when Srikanth loosen the game and missed focus suddenly. Chou TC stands as favorite to secure final spot, he trounced recent World Championships silver medalist Vitidsarn in extremely one sided match, the Taiwanese veteran facing 2020 winner Popov on next path who subdues CHN next generation hopeful. The passive Li SF strategy didn't work to tackle more aggressive opponent.

Persistence and resilience has brought Zhang YM to score first ever victory over one of high-profile WS players in the circuit, 15-8 then 16-9 the Chinese kept to dig deep to level the scoreline and pressed the less patient Marin into erroneous execution. Zhang doesn't present any significant result in this year, only being semifinalist once in Mulheim an Der Ruhr in last March. China wants to push second-layered players world ranking as both Zhang & Han Y also participate AUS Open.

All-China affair in the WS Final, Han Yue vs Zhang Yiman, after eliminating Mariska and Nozomi respectively, both prevailing over their opponents in two straight sets.

Because of the sponsor. Before it was called BMW cup , Bitburger masters, Bitburger open, now Hylo open. Some of the super 300 tournaments are called as such with the name of sponsors sometimes.

CHN and TPE have captured only title each and might expect one more through other categories meanwhile THA surprisingly seals WD crown which describes their fast track development in this discipline as Kititharakul/Prajongjai vanquish China number two Zhang SX/Zheng Y, wide gap illustration has differentiated with China sole reliable combination Chen/Jia.

The most anticipated match of final day will pit two world top-ten members, Olympic bronze medalist Ginting takes one familiar rival Chou TC. The faster Indonesian exploits his forte at front court, net shot and some deceptive drops while Srikanth tried to direct Ginting into disadvantage area frequently at backhand corner to score point. Overall, both players have pleasant technical skill to watch but can’t control accuracy properly. Seasoned-campaigner Chou absorbs good analysis of Popov game plan in the opener to tackle his tall opponent hard smash then dictated second game completely, the Taiwanese displays convincing performance along the tournament.

The quite late-bloomer Zhang YM beat two biggest names of this S300 tour in a row, Marin and Okuhara. The Japanese tidy game and superb court coverage hasn’t restored yet, the Chinese applied exact recipe to expose former World Champion weakest link, to push her into baseline and some exquisite net drops that flat footed Okuhara occasionally. Han Y meanwhile overcame junior peer Tunjung narrowly, 2017 world junior champion has distinctive skill how she contructing the rally and shot placement but sadly plagued by too many unforced errors repeatedly.

Indonesian hopefuls Kusharjanto/Kusumawati provide promising sign amid the declining of INA mixed doubles department and slow progress of the much expected Rivaldy/Mentari. They will face tricky test, Chinese dynamic duo Feng/Huang. Taiwanese men’s doubles raise to the occasion to fill the vacuum of the Olympic Champions devastating form, Lu/Yang show positive trend in back to back Europe tour.

The first test awaits them in this final, if they succeed in defeating Feng/Huang maybe they have the prospect of becoming a challenger to the current world top WD.
