Indonesia MD feels like have put Finalist in every individual tournament this year. Could have won 6/7 titles instead of 3 (AE, Swiss & AsiaChamp)

Yeah, you're more optimistic than I am, unfortunately a miss is as good as a mile, so close yet so far. Still, an incredible performance by Li Shifeng. Way to go !

Badminton at its best is depicted in final day, all matches completed in high quality three games except MD that witnessing World Champions Hoki/Kobayashi won in brief time following INA pair retired at 4-13 due to Fajar Alfian injury. Another title for Japan delivered by Matsuyama/Shida who taste first ever victory over senior teammates Matsutomo/Nagahara, an intriguing WD showdown to watch fast attacking game than usual boring marathon rallies as the competition of defense aspect between two pairs.

Tai TY avenges Tokyo OG gold medal match defeat over arch rival Chen YF in smaller scale tournament, the Chinese stamina seemed struggling and quite fatigue in deciding game. The world #1 applied more attacking game to beat her steady opponent, proper strategy to break Chen formidable fortress. First title for TPE ace since clinched BWF World Tour Finals in January 2021. Tai didn't repeat her blunder this time, became less pressure comparing what happened in Tokyo last summer to produce unnecessary errors and presented cheap point to her tired opponent. Third finals for the Olympic Champion in BWF World Tour this year but her result ended as runner-up.

Match of the day goes to men's singles, experience and mental strength has brought Lee ZJ to win THA Open after did miraculous comeback from 4-11 trailed behind. Li succeeded to trouble Lee with his excellent offensive shots that preceded by tight net play plus decent defense, unfortunately he can’t keep momentum till the end. The Malaysian is heavily depend on his hard smashes though sometimes its being less effective against the player who has better retrieving skill and faster than him, Li had studied his style of play and game plan really well. Some of his various strokes or deception to show world class status emerged at crucial stages of final game and left the Chinese underdog in huge disappointment, was unable to follow Weng HY step to spring major upset in finale.

Chinese mixed doubles pair are back to their routine powered by Zheng SW deadly smashes, standing on top podium to beat home favourites, this S500 title is very important regarding how they celebrated victory and cementing their partnerships still exist towards Paris 2024. Popor did many mistakes and not as fast as usual to intercept and placing shuttlecock in unpredictable area, the Chinese duo were better at the net and contructing the attacking mode.

Hope this will prove CBA wrong in trying to split Zheng/huang up… they can easily be top for another 2-3 years at least with HYQ’s great anticipation at the front and ZSW’s backcourt prowess

    Congrats to ZSW/HYQ...
With their return , the domination of Thai duo over the past few months is over.
    Come back stronger Bass/Popor

Tty performs well in non major events. No pressure smashing outside.

Lzj did well to get back and win it. ;)

Actually, do they even have the intention of splitting them up, or they just want to play with different partners just to experiment.

Because to be honest, I think most people will still assume that Zheng/Huang is better then wang/Huang. Just that because they dominated so much, maybe they lost focus temporarily.

Not as simple as that, ZSW’s leg injury is clearly quite severe. There are uncertainties here.

It is said ZSW had serious injury with his waist, which affected his performance of smash in a row.
