Another top-end shoe without asymmetric laces - guess that particular feature/gimmick is being dropped ;-) Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Please let us know once you try them out! I'm interested in picking up a pair but I've barely seen any info about them online.
Played with them yesterday.. my first experience with the inner Bootie, ankle does not seem as secure as my 65zm so maybe if you have ankle issues consider this before purchasing.. Extremely comfortable shoe, as I said feel smaller than normal so I work 2/3 pairs of socks around the house to break them in, feel great now. Performance is great, nice light shoe perfect grip.. Still a new shoe so durability I can't comment.. I do have some concerns over the material where the toes bend as it seems it might crack in the crease eventually. As it turns out now after breaking them in they are perfect, true to size.. you need the snug fit up top as there is no support around the ankle.. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
My SHB03mid after 1 year 5 months (17 months); each week 2-3 sessions of 2 hour games each. The shoe held up so well, the sole is wearing out slowly just as expected. Construction is still solid. The tear I noticed a month in, and it just stayed like that since. Freaking durable in my case at least.
I hv seen lots of coral red with such issues BTW off topic I hv same pair as you Same issue also... Yellowing of the upper
Hey Stever! Can you tell where did you purchase this model? I'm looking to get these for myself too, but can't find it online.. Please let me know in which country you live and from which online shop did you buy this model. Thank you!
Rakuten.. one of the members here recommend so I went with that.. living in Ireland. Hope that helps.. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Awesome, thanks! I actually discovered Rakuten today, but wasn't sure if it was legit. Regards from Canada!
OH!! Try this place... I think they're Canadian: https://yumo.ca/products/yonex-power-cushion-eclipsion-x-mens-court-shoes-white-black
Yup I got caught for import tax aswell and seen as they combine the product price and delivery charge you pay a higher amount than on product value.. still nice to get exclusive products. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
And this is a prime example of people falling for the color scheme, not knowing what you're actually buying. PSA time for you: https://www.badmintoncentral.com/fo...-jp-eclipsion-z-mid-jp-z-wide-ex-x-ex.179671/
Hey Curnow, I noticed they don't give you an estimate for shipping until you enter your credit card info and proceed with payment.. I find that sketchy and haven't made the purchase yet.. What did you buy from them and how much you payed for import tax, if you don't mind me asking.
Esppy thanks. Yeah I know Yumo, the only problem with them that they don't have a wide selection as Rakuten. For example, they don't have the White Eclipsion Z with inner bootie, only the standart. Also Yumo don't have Black Eclipsion Z in my foot size and they call it Ladies shoe. I actually never tried a shoe with inner bootie, how is it? Is it a game changer, how does it feel?
Not Curnow but sometimes they give an estimate of the shipping fees, and sometimes they don't, depending on which seller and what items you're purchasing. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
What I am worried about with these shoes is the need/nonsense of the RUBBER UPPER LAYER. Why is this better, IS this better, than say normal leather? Rubber reminds me of stinky sweaty feet. Also, isn't rubber more stiff than say leather? I don't get it. I feel that Yonex is changing there equipment often and purely for marketing reasons, not to make a better product. I am about to buy new shoes but I just want the best standard NORMAL shoe. I have to be honest, I did try the 2018 65Z and those were not comfy for me, especially the outside, right and left outside sides of the shoe was hurting my feet a bit after playing for an hour. I also don't like the Comfort Z's, because of that weird lacing and tongue. Now what do I do?
