Now I agree that TUC should be reduced to once each 4 years......

    Too many absences

The majority, esp WS, of the KOR Uber Cup Team is the squad that beat the JPN in a friendly match twice by 3-2 as reported by kurako and event i the JPN Pro Players thread.

And I think even the KOR Thomas Cup Team is not to be trifled with.

Jung Kyung Eun is not a surprising omission, imo. She's been disappointing for a year now. Chang Ye Na and especially Lee So Hee, however, are still better than the vast majority of the players they've listed.

Korea always poses dangerous threat in team event, they often spring surprise to shock the favourites, so never underestimate them.

    Check first page, Post #2.

I don't know the availability right know. Maybe it's better to check it.
They've just updated it yesterday afternoon I think. It should be completely updated right now.

Even Lee Chong Wei is shirking his national responsibility for the Thomas Cup, yet he was earlier gunning for the CWG title, both team and individual.

So it turns out that LCW is helming the MAS Thomas Cup team after all, good as it'll improve Team MAS chances and possibly cause one or even two upsets, who knows.

I got the news from here (in Mandarin) http://sports.sina.com.cn/o/2018-05-16/doc-iharvfht8179460.shtml

He revealed that it'd be his last Thomas Cup appearance, high time I feel as he'd be 38 by then in 2020 during which time I believe all his time and energy should be harnessed for the all-important one last final push at the Olympics before calling it quits.

Doesnt matter. What I want is them seeing this competition as the most important one and having the best show in that tournament
