You are contradicting yourself again and again.

You are the one who imposed that I "don't jump in" your post. As what you said, if you don't want to read, just close your eyes. You really should. I am here to post too. If you are not sensitive you will not be replying to my post isn't it?

Experienced players gone like puppets? Can you even beat any of them to address them as puppets?

Well. I was talking about this tournament and the players who met Lindan. If you really want to fight with people for posting statistics , well i dont wanna mention here, who really need to stop here. Let's put a full stop.
Yep. All the experienced players in this 'tournament' who met Lindan went like puppets. Sameer verma, korean player(don't remember) , takuma ueda, jonathan christie etc. I stand by my view point. That's my opinion.

Certainly very "popular" position, here, atleast. I said the same thing when we had all the hype about Morten commentating on LCW alongside GC.
He's always more or less biased, although I give him benefit of the doubt, one may know a lil more about one player on the court than the other and that more often than not makes you talk more about that concerned player than the worthy opponent. He's got a very soothing voice, yes but at the same time it lacks the "enthusiastic approach" a commentator brings to the sport. Lacks the energy which drives the spectators to "nod along" with you and hence pay more attention to the game. He also, lacks the tactical and more specific technical knowledge and hence fails to put up the same trivial insights Steen comes up.

I, it's just my opinion, rather that Bobby guy along with Steen or GC with anybody. Commentary must boost the "learning" and/(or atleast or) the enthusiasm in the spectators

I agree. Steen's commentaries are pretty much one of the reasons why I enjoy watching badminton matches. He has good observations of players insight and appreciation of any player's both strong and weak points.

And his sense of humor never fails to amuse me.
"Gill! Ssshhhh! I am watching good badminton here!"

MF not insightful as Steen? Y'all trippin

MF was clearly not comfy by hisself. Steen and GC on the other hand, have great chemistry. MF with GC is not as steady because they could both be biased themselves at times, but go watch especially the Thomas/Uber Cup matches years ago when they were commentating. One of those moments when MF will actually make you listen and learn something.

Steen though I will admit, is less shy and has the sense of humor.

The weakness of one man commentator.

On top of that.. MF was a singles player. Steen has coached a national team so he can possibly have more to offer on doubles as well

I thought Morten was also a coach, wasn't he?

That is why I think Steen has better insight of the match with any players single or double from any country. He is less biased than the other two. He could more or less neutralize Gill's biased comments by his 'knowledge' of gossip/trivial stuff. He seems to always ask around or talk to anybody lol. He makes it sound like it was his job to know everything there is to know except past matches statistics. And he often turns fanboy mode once in a while if there was a fantastic play or rally. "Ooh.. that's a fanTAStic shot! How did he do that?" "Look at THAT!" in an excited tone. Only can be rivaled by Gill's "I don't believe it!" or "How on earth..?"

No one interested on a 2nd rd loser statistic. No time for the looser.

In Indonesia International Series he lost to an unknown player from Azerbajan who is rank 495 in the first round and in straight set.

People will eventually start talking about him when he starts winning big, not when he is loosing in early rounds.

At 16, he has a good chance to become India first boy's WJC. I think that should be his first major target. Do please take note the 2017 WJC is also 16years old. Good luck.

Wow. Here you go. You started to talk for everybody now.

Who cares you have time or not?
I wanted to mention it to those who are here for badminton. Not for those who are here for........ lol

This is badminton forum. Here, everybody wants to talk about winners as well as losers. So... Better ___^___^___.

He lost to some Ajerbajan player in a tournament. So...? What do you wanna tell to people here.
I was talking about this tournament . All players will lose to some lower ranked player in their lifetime.

Hmm.. as far as how I see it, looks like you were the one who is here for..... ? You were obviously the one who started disrespecting those who lost to Lin Dan as "puppets" or whatever to those who are here for badminton and claimed it as "facts" and rub it in to anybody who disagreed with your opinion.

We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
    We are the champions.
    We are the champions.
    No time for losers
Cause we are the champions of the world.

I was basically quoting from Queen's song.

As for telling people he lost to an Azerbajan player. Most people will roll their eyes that a player from such country can beat a top junior Indian player "where many(in India) have high hope to be an uprising star player.". Of all the country like Indonesia, Japan, China and etc....he has to lose to a player ftom Azerbajan.

Sorry, not to insult the Azerbajan player(Azmy) but I think he did superly well from a country where the level of badminton is unheard of.

I don't even know where Azerbajan is until this kid won against Indian uprising player. Thank you so much.

Great to know that you came to know country Azerbajan because of this 16 years old kid who erased your ignorance :). Hope that Azerbaizan player do not 'vanish' in the air after that one Win. I wish him good luck to win Tokyo 2020 ;).

Still i stand by my view.
Lindan was in different level to beat these so called players in straight games. :)
