Maybe he wasn't "saving energy" in Germany and just lost to the better player TWW, who is in great form. And now this. Haven't watched the game. Did TS play great?

Marin pulling out all stop to lead the game. 11-2 after the brink of defeat.

After nearly winning in two sets, HBJ self-destructs in the decider. Really need to have a strong heart to watch her play. Too unpredictable and inconsistent at times.

CM simply romping in the 3rd game. After a lapse of concentration in the first game, CM took the second game. Now one sided 3rd game to marin

HBJ gifting points like nobody's business. It's game over.

Tighten your game, He Bingjiao, and you could've won in two straight sets instead of losing in three, literally throwing G3 away. Learn from your senior, Lin Dan, how to stay focused and be mentally tough.

Zhang Nan is a truly amazing player. No matter who he plays with, the pairing then almost always shines. For me he is one of the best doubles players (XD and MD) of our time, together with Hendra Setiawan.

Today, of course TS better than CL. Credit to him. Congrats to him. CL need to save energy after Olympic to bigger and biggest tournament, Japan Olympic.

Li Yinhui still has much to learn.

Li Yinhui appears uptight, not letting herself go, probably afraid to makr mistakes and not living up to her great partner's expectations. That's worse, she ends up unnecessarily restraining herself and becoming unsure what shots to play and not anticipating the opponent's shots, counter-productive.

Zhang Nan clearly frustrated with his partners unforced errors.

Li Yinhui is not asserting herself at the front court, can't compare with Zhao Yunlei in finesse, and poor Zhang Nan has to work so hard for the points.
