bwf owns the broadcast rights, not the sponsors, so it's up to the referee, with some consideration from the tournament director. variety of events, rankings, time of previous days match, home country player...
There are always Indian players on the TV court (Sindhu was chosen instead of Marin even though Marin had a top 10 opponent). I think it's because they generate more TV viewers.
Hey, Chen Long, wake up. Just a 4 - 5 months break after Rio'16, and you're still not back to your best ?!
it could be a broadcast rights issue. while bwf's 'world feed' [badmintonworld.tv] is on the tournament organizer can only broadcast domestically. the allenglandbadminton youtube channel might start streaming internationally again after the 'world feed' is finished.
Chen Long seems to have temporarily forgotten how to play Tanongsak despite having an 11-0 H2H advantage
Chen Long not dictating the rallies, but playing a controlled yet tentative game with mistakes now and then. Tanongsak playing his usual sudden attacking game with injection of pace every now and then.
The TV Court ended in an absolute HIGH with the Adcocks against Xu/Du-- even though it was clear that the Adcocks had the advantage, the Chinese put up a marvellous fight while the Adcocks kept up the aggression/pace... thoroughly entertaining, would watch again!
