It's a first SS title for Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Markus Fernaldi Gideon! They justify their selection for the Thomas Cup Finals 2016 by beating their more experienced and higher ranked compatriots Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi. I have been a fan of Kevin since he was 15 yo, a junior player at PB Djarum. He had already displayed tremendous talents since then and I am not surprised that he is now winning a SS title at the tender age of 20 (he's only turning 21 in August this year). Not to mention, he is a very versatile player and has played with many partners in both MD and XD.
