Lee/ Yoo want it just as bad, as they already suffered an upset during the first round of last years AE. Lee Yong Dae also lost in R1 of the 2013 AE with Ko Sung Hyun and didn't participate 2014, because he was banned for not taking a drug test. So the Koreans never did well at the All England Championships after Lee won the title with Jung Jae Sung in 2012.

Yes, at least from a neutral perspective....being a fan of the Koreans it was quite nerve-wracking at times, seeing them struggle so much against a pair they never lost to. Still a good game in the end and I'm looking forward to watch them play in the upcoming rounds

Dont underestimate Japanese doubles pairings. Ever. Unless its Hirata/Hashimoto, in which case you should never assume they'll be able to beat anyone above WR#500

Exactly. Although Japanese MD never seem to win any titles (last one I remember was Kamura/ Sonoda winning the German Open GPG 2013), they have beaten quite a high number of top ranked players during the last couple of years.

So sai praneeth took the first game against LCW they call him the most naturally gifted player in india but somehow didn't perform much at the International level. I dont expect him to win g2 and g3
Still, well done to snatch a game from the lion.

I just don't believe it. LCW is out! Two games in which he had a couple of points in front and then gives them all away. So many easy mistakes. Horrible.
