Ivanov should stop blocking it to the net when he is late to the shuttle. Gets them in trouble every time.

Yes, for some reason this was a very strange tournament.

In MS, no body ever expected Chen Long and LCW to be out so soon. Also, the performance of Song Xue and Tian Houwei was exceptional, especially that of Song Xue.

In WS, it was still not that spectacularly different, except Saina loosing. I had hoped that she will win.

In MD, Koreans went out pretty soon, so did other top seeds.

In WD, never expected this performance from Japanese.

In XD, couldn't have imagined ZZ/ZYL will be out in Semis.

Overall, some people were spectacular after their winter training, among them being: Song Xue, MM/AT, DS/PJ, Russians

The ones who were lethargic seemed to be TQ/ZYL, ZYL/ZN, TA/LN, LCW, and on and on

We are getting ahead of ourselves here. Legend Status.... No!

She needs to work hard for quite some time to become a Legend. As for Olympic favorite, I am not necessarily sure... WSX had a pretty close match with her, plus Carolina, and a host of other players can come up as well. We still have 5-6 months to go, and a lot will depend on the period up to Rio. Who knows, perhaps Saina regains her form? or Perhaps LXR comes back up again.

But if nothing dramatic changes, perhaps yes, she is the favorite.

The match keeps getting better and better from the start to finish, after the boring MS, and loopsided WD, the XD is exciting, the WS grueling, and now a great MD match

Awesome MD this is turning out to be. Though I love this Japanese MD pair, I'd like the Russians to win.

Ivanov had been the heart of two PBL editions in India. He single handedly served his team, whether its MS, MD or XD. Truly an all rounder. Probably the most versatile player on the circuit.

the draw is such a big factor in ladies singles now a days i think, you simply avoid one of your strongest challenger in your half, some other player beats her in the other half and you simply go and beat the other players standing and win the title. .ladies sigles is an open battle field.. .okuhara won today. .she might or might not win tomorrow, who knows.
