We have to accept it. Chen Long's robotic puzzle game is cracked. Hereafter, he should change his game. Otherwise, more and more players will crack that puzzle as if it happened to Lindan. Soon is better. Later it will become even worse.

So many easy mistakes, lifting predictably, rallying most of the time, mishitting sitters, misjudging the lines, outplayed at the net - no wonder Steen is saying this is not the Chen Long who won the WC and ranked world number1.

Ginting will meet another youngster Jeon Hyeok Jin. Could he deliver another excellent performance tomorrow ? They could dominate the future competition along with Axelsen and Momota (if he could come back).

I don't think so, coz fans of Chen Long never use such excuses when he lost his game. Only... better don't mention names

So many players are there to beat indonesian players. Have you seen yesterday's match against Sameer verma. It was really close. Sameer has beaten Ishan day before yesterday. And yesterday's game went to 3 games and sameer lost like 19-21 in the 3rd game. Infact, the last point was simply a gifted point. So many players are there who can beat these players. Let us wait and watch the future.

The real Chen Long is hiding somewhere waiting for Rio Olympic, so they decide to send his clone. Real Chen Long will never be beaten tamely by a kid.

True, tomorrow will be the battle of the future. Jeon is just as talented as Ginting. We are treated of the rise of MS youngsters this year, the INA trio, Sameer Verma and the Korean duo. Hope none of them will get injured so they can show us good matches in years to come.

Then what happened to Sony and Jonatan after beating Lin Dan ? Sony went on to lose to Hu Yun and Srikanth, Jonatan lost to JOJ and Heo Kwan Hee, all within a month.

I say this with no disrespect to anyone. The way I see it, it tells me why Lin Dan lost more than anything, and not so much that he was beaten by them. Otherwise, you'd expect anyone who beat Lin Dan to go on to defeat all the lesser opponents and score more impressive victories. Maybe one day in the future, who knows.

I am going to be honest with you. Kento Momota won't be able to make a comeback.

I heard he has already started training and making his way back for Tokyo 2020. He has to go through all the formal club, national team etc again, just that.

I agree that all these young hopefuls, up-and-comers, from INA, IND, KOR, JPN, MAS, etc , are at about the same level for the time being. Only the future can tell who will emerge champion material.

Remember , even Tian Houwei beat LCW in AUS 2013.

Yeah its kind of interesting to watch these youngster development. Indonesia trio, korea duo, verma and others need more experience and consistency in order to catch up Momota and Axelsen which have already on the top competition.
