Sun Yu seldom play x-net shots.

Sun Yu should be aware Akane plays a lot to the front court, esp her high and slow/sliced drop shot close to the net.

I remember few weeks back I said how cutely and delightedly she plays those over head drop shots close to the net and the troll said it was the most "dangerous" thing to do lol!! AY stands no chance if she doesn't do 'em

Next up on TV court, two of the fittest and hardest hitters in WS,Saina and Intanon, the other one is Marin.

Sun YU is suddenly all gears up, the last time she almost squeased WSX out of the tourney and needless to say her marathon against NO was delightful, def a stamina type player by her wlvery own style is surely an achievement for this tall lady

Height does make a difference, AY has no chance against SY.

It's Akane's specialty, she disguised it well, you can't tell whether she is going to clear and smash or drops until she plays it, but if you can read or anticipate it , then not to worry.

The second set score 11-5 already give us some indication that surely Sun Yu will win this game easily. Too bad she is not going for Rio Olympics 2016.

Akane really clueless with her high clears against such a taller athlete -_- A real lack of net skills and net plays from the japanese youngster. Sun Yu is way too tall for her high clears to unsettle her. Same result than against PV Shindu in the Uber Cup

Sun Yu increases her pace in G2, knowing Akane can run and cover the court well.

I think that's because Sun Yu is not as slow as before, she's playing faster both in shotmaking and speed of movement, as well as capitalizing on her height and reach.

Saina is not easily tricked by Intanon's deceptive shots.

They do, more so against such short players such as Akane Yamaguchi who is only 1,55 m ! She relies heavily on high fast clears too
