Saina allowed the tall Ukrainian girl to take the net initiative first. Also, Maria Ulitina had a reasonably strong active defence and irregular attacking angles. Similar to how the Russian MD blew apart Korean top seeds yesterday.

It's like Saina wasn't willing to back her own skills. No attempt to inject speed or power. No intent to hit the lines. No change up in playing style. Her playing was all a bit insipid.

It's always good to be the underdog or unfancied player at the Olympics, as you can play freely while all the pressure is on your opponent. Incredible, a number of them are exhibiting the 'underdog advantage',first the Poles XD , and now the Ukrainian girl, of all WS players.

saina lost. tee jy lost and injured herself. mental strength is more important, one just cant walk in the court with a loser mentality. saina lost concentration when her o lower ranked opponent came out with unexpected gameplay..

And our Saina exits in R1!
    How sad.

    Who is this Ukranian girl?
    Never even heard of her.
    She was damn good.
Saina looked like she doesn't know what's going on.
