Xu/Ma played a more relax confidence game.

Glad also Chan/Goh made it to the semi final. Will be interesting to watch.

There will be still another 20 hours or so before the semifinal starts.

But only Zhang Nan doing double duty will be on in 8-9 hours time playing MD.

Can sense Zhang Nan/Fu Haifeng will lose to Kim Sa Rang/ Kim Gi Jung in MD due to insufficient rest hours.

Just like what happen to Team Korea during Thomas Cup, the night before they beat China but the following day afternoon they have to face Indonesia and they lost tamely.

I think Zhang Nan's situation is a bit different. He had more than 12 hours between his XD matches and MD match today. which is sufficient to rest. And his matches today also 12 hours apart. If you look at few days to come it will be much easier for him as he'll just be playing one match per day with one day blank. The scheduling is just right for him, compared to the super tight SS scheduling.

In local time he was playing at 7 in the evening (last night) and the next game the next morning 8 in the morning and 6 in the evening. Which I think give plenty time to rest in between.

Maybe you are not aware, what you had mentioned above is the same situation to Thomas Cup Team Korea, whereby the resting time is 13 hours, slightly longer.

Cross my fingers and let's observe what will happen, especially the match is scheduled to play early in the morning (8:30am, local time).

badlove, I know what you are thinking since you are from Indonesia, for sure you wish Zhang Nan/Fu Haifeng to win their MD match, coz if Zhang Nan win MD tomorrow am, he will probably play softer during the same day pm XD match against Ahmad/Natsir.

But if he lose his MD match, he will go all out in XD. :D
