    Debby/Praveen won not convincingly to have to play 3 sets against the weakest HKG pair in the group :(. How can they play vs. ZN/ZYL. then

    many US badminton fans are quite lit up as Iris Wang won the first Olympics badminton match in singles since the early 90's.

    Xu Chen/Ma Jin survived a scare from the Adcocks, not a good sign.

    Not lifting at all really worked for the Adcocks in the first two sets, but after that they somehow failed to get on the attack and lost promptly.

    Not a really bad sign either, they always struggle against the European pairs when those are on and can get away with not lifting...the match against the Danes will be even tougher I think
