The indonesian traditional badminton scene has thing called "pergelangan tangan yang bagus" that can be literally described as "skillful wrist joint". And Ginting has the most skillful "wrist joint" among other youngsters. And we just love player with that sort of skill. I think that's why many regard him as the most talented, even though he is the most inconsistent as well.

They are all getting better and and it's good to see they are competing each other. They are good friend off court. JC starts the year impressively and tomorrow he will cross sword against his idol Lin Dan. Hope he can play well and try his best.

Oh, you mean, "wrist work". Yup, that could give Ginting more depth in deception.

Time to find out how Christie fares with Lin Dan - I hope to see a good match tomorrow.

He'll do just fine provided he doesn't get intimidated or overwhelmed by the idea of playing his very own idol!

Actually you just need to download a software called hotspot shield. Then the whole thing will work like magic. In the location part choose America and then the whole match should ne viewable live.

Sindhu won the match in 3 games . Unconvincing victory. Not her usual herself.

Good win for HBJ in a match between two deceptive players. I was telling my partner who is also a Tai that HBJ might not last the pace in the rubber set.

Who'd have thought Last week's MAS PSS finalist is booted out in the opening round by He Bingjiao.

That's what I thought at first before the start of G3. But she proved me wrong. Last month she knocked out Intanon in R2 of the Swiss Open, today she handed Tai TY a R1 exit.

Without any doubt, He Bingjiao is beginning to outperform her seniors, WYH and WSX, the signs are there.

After having witnessed how He Bingjiao spanked WYH in the Swiss Open Final, I am not THAT surprised to be honest. :D

But would I have bet some money on that result? Clearly not!

In fairness, this is Tai TY's back-to-back tournament but after a two-day rest before the R1 match, I wouldn't think her fatigue symptoms to be obvious. Hope someone has the video on youtube, doubt there'd be.
