Yep. If sindhu played like a crap as if she played today, it's difficult for her to survive tomorrow.

    I know why TTY lost.
The legend behind LD is now coaching HBJ.
    Watch this young lady grow!

Don't think that she needs to grow anymore. A bit of shrinking would be a lot better for her and her performance! :D

Right, TTY looks super fit last week, her opponent, Intanon even more so, to my surprise. And they are in good company with Saina, the fittest in my opinion, and a few others, Marin, Nozomi, Wang SX.

Noticed that you did not mention WYH. I though she was the fittest amongst the chinese trio.

I see WSX as fitter than WYH who used to win by brute force but her fitness or lack of stamina the past couple of years can't cope anymore.

You are probably right. But what you see as brute force I see as a certain physicality in WYH which has served her well.Admittedly her performance has fallen short in recent times.

WYH is finished, she will retire by the end of the year or get booted I think.

    21-17 16-21 22-20

Very rare to see an Indian doubles win!

    A bit late, but nevertheless
Congo HBJ Commendable match def TTY in a thrilling 3 setter not only proves she has for something the world will see in near future but also speaks the saga of her improved stamina!
PV has never lost to BO but the first set was a concern but I won't be very harsh as it's just R1 and even megastars tumble in g1 while the get accustomed with the conditions!
N last but not the least infact the biggest surprise of the day (for me atleast) AD/PJC fef Lu/Liu great man tomorrow will be a big day

Is there a player profile to indicate HBJ s dimensions? If my judgement is not wrong, she is BIG, like an XXL version of Akane Yamaguchi. The badminton court is too small for her. Yes, she is likely to take out any opponent until they get round to know her game better. So Sindhu met her 3x and only managed to defeat her at the third encounter. Will be hoping for a Nozomi vs HBJ match.
