Must have been a great game: CHAI Biao [4] HONG Wei - Angga PRATAMA Ricky Karanda SUWARDI 18-21 30-29 21-18 0:59
JC is getting a great luck by facing Rajiv tomorrow. He still has a chance to win in Qtr final.. I do not want to jinx it
What tremendous performance from TTY! As always, she is delightful to watch! When she plays like this she can beat anyone! LXR gave everything but TTY was just better today after a rough start in G1 ! Glad that TTY finally cut down on the creativity, keeping the deception but going for less-error prone shots. This is the only reason she is not in the Top 3 WS players. She really has the best technical skills on the WS tour This hard-fought match will give her confidence! I predicted that she would win again against LXR, seeing the way she has been playing lately! No real surprise - WS world n°2 and n°3 out the tournament :O Carolina Marin had a real mental breakdown in G2 but came back to win it - she really needs to control her emotions..-
2 INA, 2 MAS, and 1 KOR/JPN in main court #1 tomorrow. 4 CHN in court #2. All CHN in court #3 except one INA/ENGLAND. -Indra
No, I won't give them any credit at all - probably a random decision with little or no significance, the QFs onward matters more, much more.
They should respect LD by putting his match on court #1 instead tomorrow. I want to see it on youtube not gambling site.
Did you really watch the match ? Pardon me for saying this, TTY didn't play better than LXR, most of her points were won, esp in G3, from LXR's mistakes, simple unforced errors. If you've been following both TTY and LXR's games, you can tell whether it's a good match or not. Whatever, as they say, a win is a win but from an aficionado's, fan's or coaches' or players' points of view, it does matter how a match is played and won, for the purpose of analyses and future preparations because each match situation is different and we've to study it carefully in order to rectify problems, identify weaknesses and shortcomings, and make improvements, etc. That's just my personal, humble opinion.
I really hope Lin Dan is not affected should there be more than a few bad linecalls against him tomorrow on non-TV court without IRS (Instant Review System aka Hawk-Eye). In today's match with Boonsak Ponsana, Lin Dan was visibly annoyed by at least two linecalls that were seemingly not clear-cut.
I watched it twice in fact. Hm your message does not sound very humble... TTY did dominate and played better than LXR in G2 and G3. She played quicked and agressively and put a lot of pressure on LXR. It was a though fight but TTY really came out on top today both in stamina and skills, showing some improvements. Both players did make a considerable number of unenforced errors, but that's part of the game, and it's really not that surprising given it is very windy in the arena, such as reported by all the players after the first round. What matters is that they were on equal footing in that regard. I'm not all that surprised to your reaction to my post given your previous posts on this thread -(or on this forum everytime a chinese player loses). I suggest we agree to disagree
Chen Qingchen play well both double and mixed double. I think can even beat their senior players. some of China women senior players not doing well as should be, I not sure why.
Very exciting QF in WS! Saina Newhal should not have much difficulty against Porntip, but all the rest will have to fight hard to win! TTY vs WSX and RI vs Sindhu should be especially interesting. In MS: Chen Long vs Tian Houwei should be a good one, too. I doubt Jorgensen / Axelsen will be able to upset LCW/ Lin Dan but it could be good matches nonetheless. Ouseph vs Jonathan is really the surprise QF match here! Who would have thought ^^' Very exciting QF in MD too, every top pair having passed the first two rounds. In WD, a real foretaste of the upcoming Uber Cup for Japan and China, important matches all in all. In XD: ADCOCK vs NATSIR should be an interesting one. Can the english team follow-up on their AE win? NIELSEN vs. Petersen should also be a good match.
Sure, we can agree to disagree. But I daresay that judgemental view/accusation of your does not reflect reality if you care to be objective and impartial in reading all my posts. Actually, nothing personal. Let it be.
