So as a summary Korea you need to work extra hard this year. This is an alarming ringing bell. Guess Korea won't stand a chance at all to win this year Thomas Cup 2016.

Jonatan Christie won the decider match in 3-sets, despite losing the first set 14-21 and dangerously almost losing the second set.

The third also went almost dangerously as close as the second one, even though Jojo led 11-6 at the interval, only for Kenta Nishimoto to close the gap to only 1 pt at 11-12. It was only at this pt that Jojo took the initiative back and only allowed the Japanese to win another 2 pts. Jojo brilliantly closed the rubber-set 21-13!

So, Team INA won the inaugural Badminton Asia Men's Team Championships 2016, after beating Team JPN 3-2 in the Final. This victory (esp for Anthony, Angga/Ricky, and Jojo) will certain add to the team's confidence in trying to regain the Thomas Cup back. Will INA have a chance this year against Team CHN, KOR or DEN (the other 3 powerhouse)? We shall see in May.....

JPN sent their very best teams here in men's and women's category, yet stumbled at the final hurdle and have to settle for second best in both. That's telling.

The INA young cohort did a remarkable job to take the men's team crown. Congratulations, INA.

There are trophies for both the Men's and Women's Team Champions. Our dear huangkwokhau was the one who brought the two trophies and medals to Hyderabad.

No worries Korea is already out of the lists. Korea fielded in their best A team lose to Japan 0-3 yesterday. Today Indonesia Junior players win over Japan best A team 3-2. The answer is already written in the wall.

Remember Chn TC only field their C team, without CL, LD, ZN/FHF and LXL/QZH
They still the one to beat.

Thanks for the updates, badmania :)
You and I and miksss are the only old formers today, without our cheering squad like old time eg Sandy, Krisna etc.
