Jonatan Christie (Jojo) is currently still involved in a tight-match against fellow youngsters Wang Tzu-Wei of TPE

arggghhhh...... INA as usual are represented by Ahsan/Hendra, Butet/Tontowi, Greysia/Maheswari, TS can't win against CL. According to script, WS is gone as soon as they enter the main event, MS is gone by R32 or Qtr final.

Keep finger crossed that Kevin/Markus can get past Kim/Kim today though.

Jojo always gets trouble against Wang TZ as he also lost in two previous meetings.

Yeah, a bleak prospect so far for WS category, it's hard to break MS elite group. INA once again will rely on their doubles discipline in Rio, maybe we'll see better future in two or three years ahead ;)

In official post-match interview by PBSI yesterday, Jojo said he felt like he wasn't really into the match. Everything was going wrong, he's just lucky to finally emerge as a winner yesterday. I guess the same thing happened today.

no wonder Wang Tzu Wei can beat Iskandar yesterday, he is now super on-form, most likely to succeed Chou Tien Chen as TPE no.1 MS in future...

Liu Yu Chen is the weaker link of the LJH/LYC pair.

Just a question, how much points does the gold medal give? I heard is the same as a GPG?

Disappointing effort by Ahsan/Hendra.... give the credit to the CHN youngster! They gave away 4 pts unforced error in a row to the CHN pair till they already reached 20.s

And Ahsan/Hendra lost again to this CHN pair, for the third time..

    Disastrous day for INA camp

sad. i like both RI and MA/HS, and they are knocked out today.
i really have doubts on MA/HS as one of the favourites for the olympics. so far they have been disappointing this year. is it due to MA's back, or they have slow down from their peak last year?

Sung Ji Hyun must be really happy to meet Sato instead of Intanon. Their H2H alone is 11-1

Yes, and judging by their(INA) performance yesterday, I am not convinced they will advance.
