I really do not understand the hatred towards Marin. To me, she's a great athlete who deserves a lot more respect. Possibly one of the best of this generation.
I think we need more diversity in this forum. More European / Japanese / Korean fans to balance out the negativity.

Me too. There is definitely a bias against Marin.

But I don't think diversity has got anything to do with it.

Let's hope Saina cracks these two puzzles soon enough.

It's partly because she constantly beats a lot of the favorite players of die-hard fans.

    Honestly, I find Carolina entertaining.

I hate her because she beat Saina in important finals. But no other reason.

Technically possible. But this tournament proves my belief that Marin is just one among equals, she is not clearly the best , only one of the best of which there are many; I would go so far as to say there are 10 to 15 who can beat each other on a good day. Lately, one or other takes turns to be on a roll, once it was Sung JH, then Marin, followed by LXR, then now Nozomi, it seems.

I dislike her (hate is a strong word) but really just because of her screaming. I get it that when you win a hard rally and an important point, it will release the stress when you shout, but when you win an easy point, then you scream your lung out, I find it arrogance. Idk, maybe it's just me.

I think the one I hate most is Tai.
She always beats Saina even though her rank is quite low.

That's quite mature, hating a player just because he beats your favorite player. :D

I understand what you are trying to say. Diversity is very important. However, to be honest and frank it is not going to be easy to invite more Korean and Japanese fans into this forum. First of all Koreans and Japanese speak their own native language most of the time. They hardly speak in English and to be honest I will admit that most of the Koreans and Japanese are not good in English. Unless you van find a Korean or Japanese who can pick up and learn different languages very fast. If not it is very unlikely that they can join in this forum because of language barrier.
