To be fair, LD was struggling with injury while competing in China Open last year. Still an impressive victory for Srikanth.

for a long time i believe that JOJ really dont have anything so good in particular. so i'm suprised when he get into top 5 ms

even with hu yun skill can beat JOJ. but he really have that consistency on him and never give a free point.

He's very fast and extremely fit - good stamina.
But when he's having a bad day, he plays like crap. Also he seems to get frustrated easily...

I remember watching the All England recently and Chen Long grinded Jorgensen fitness down.

Yeah, but Chen Long is the only one - together with LCW - who is fitter at the moment.

Total domination by JOJ in the second game. Now leading 17-5.

Have you seen Xue Song play? His fitness is supremely extreme + he is fast. If he wins today he will play Jorgensen tomorrow. The problem is XS has no good attacking shots.

JOJ finished the second game very quickly and wins 25-23, 21-7.

    I agree..
Even KS and HSP are very fit and fast but still lacks the killer instinct and crumble under pressure
I remember the last 2 meetings JOJ looked like a slowpoke against HSP

Let's see if Xue Song even gets to play JOJ next round. He has to beat Rumbaka first who has a big home advantage.

HSP injury is probably the worst thing that has happened to India badminton lately, I think he should have won the Singapore superseries if no injury.

Back to back first round exit for the great player like LD really surprised us. I watched this match at stadium, LD was so slow and only few to unleash his attacking shots, definitely not the same Lin Dan at Sudirman Cup. From the beginning of the match, spectators were really really noisy but he should know when playing at Istora Senayan particularly against local player. Interesting to wait his performance in August, same venue but different event.

Huuu, Eea , Huu, Eaa...to be honest, as a spectator I can't concentrate to watch the match with such thundering atmosphere.

Is Yui Hashimoto the best Japnese player right now?
She beat Ratchanok in Aus SS and now she beats Carolina Marin!
