I agree with RedShuttle's analysis that LCW plays best when attacking, Chen Long when defending and counterattacking. But I wish to see CL attacking more, be a complete, balanced, all-round player. Actually I believe CL can be as aggressive as Lin Dan ever was but it's just not his character, I suppose.

Too bad, CL didn't have the good fortune to benefit much from GM Tang Xianhu's coaching, unlike Lin Dan.

When Lin Dan retires, maybe Tang XH would come out of retirement to help CL.

LCW reads CL's game quite well, the same cannot be said in reverse.

The AE victory has certainly helped LCW regained much of his self-confidence. I don't see how CL can turn his game around. LCW with one game in the bag, is even more confident and relaxed.

LCW will seldom give you an easy straightforward return, always expect a disguised, deceptive shot from him.

Consistently outplayed at the net by LCW, is CL.

CL has got to anticipate LCW's net shots more often.

Most of the time LCW is in command and dictating the rally, frankly, I don't see how CL can save himself in G2, let alone win the match. Hope I spoke too soon.
