Lightening probably won't strike twice for Uchida who did really well at Japan Open.

YY/TYT and MJ/WXL are on a collision course for a "re-match" of AE WD final. They may get by this round okay but the next round will be the real test.

In R16, there are many intriguing matches that are worth watching but few in the must-see category.

    Another match will interest:

Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputro [4/Indonesia] vs Maneepong Jongjit/Nipitphon Puangpuapech [Thailand]

It should be closed but no live stream in court3.:crying:

Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong, Malaysia’s number one pair, have fluffed again in the first round losing to a China’s junior pair. This first round loss is getting too frequent which includes those for the Korean and Malaysian Opens and the Malaysian Grand Prix Gold.
Chong Wei Feng is doing the same losing in the first round and also those of the Malaysian and Korean Opens.
Every time they lose, they said they were aware of their shortcomings and they would strive to correct and do better the next time but that does not seem to bear any fruit at all.
Wang Shixian turned the tables on P V Sindhu to avenge her loss to the latter in the Swiss Open recently. This is what great champions do and hopefully the aforesaid Malaysians could learn a thing or two from the champions.

Court 1's scoring system is down again :(

    The LiveScore shows 7-1
    It's actually 8-5 now

From what I see, the tournament officials are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it.

Lee CW is the most consistent MS, no doubt. It would be major surprise if he fails to secure QF ticket here.

Jindapon grabs game 1, 21-19. Seems Li XR has trouble to face Thai opponent...
